The opioid epidemic is ravaging our society, destroying lives and wreaking havoc on families, and this presentation features four individuals who are integrally involved in addiction recovery:
Missy Owen is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Davis Direction Foundation and The Zone Recovery Center, and the author of “Heroin Is Killing Our Children.” Mrs. Owen is a retired school counselor and the mother of five children, one of whom, Davis Owen, died of a heroin overdose in 2014.
Jennifer Walton is the Director of Operations at the Davis Direction Foundation and the mother of two sons who have struggled with the disease of addiction.
Barbi Harrison is a former drug felon who has been involved in addiction recovery for more than ten years and serves as a recovery coach at The Zone.
Justin Jackson is a single father of three children and a former drug dealer with an extensive criminal background. Justin has been involved in The Zone since it opened in 2016 and uses his knowledge and experience to share his story and assist those who are struggling with addiction recovery.
