This gallery will take you through my first experience in Peru. Some of the photos are not pretty, or even well executed photographically. I had to shoot through a van window - in places i would have liked to walk down the street, I was told it was too dangerous.
Where I could, I tried to be photojournalistically accurate - not hiding the ugly, the poverty or the conditions as well as searching out the beautiful, the wonderful personality of the people or the cultural artistry. Everything is there - if you look for it.
I am most impressed with the people I met, their depth, genuine love and good nature.
Peru is a place I'd like to return - it is a country of great potential - mostly because of the people who live there.
