The Church Building : Church buildings of the Americas and Europe. In reality the church is the body of each true believer - the building is merely a place to worship collectively together. "The hedonist has no way to protect the sacredness of the body, it is sheer pragmatism; and the rank materialist has no way to exalt the body. (it is just a random mechanical process) Jesus looks at you and says your body is the temple of the Living God. Do you know of anyone who has paid you that kind of compliment - to tell you this is where God wants to make His home in your physical body? You didn't come to a sanctuary, you brought the sanctuary with you! This is what it is all about. Nobody would have answered this way; neither Mohamed nor Krishna nor Zoroaster. They did not know He spoke of the Temple of His body. What a glorious tribute.
